3. How can I make my home more energy efficient and comfortable?

  • Consider local companies or individuals with a considerable amount of time in the industry, they are usually competitively priced and tend to be more dependable and personable (Be sure your not just a dollar amount towards a larger sales quota).
  • Do some investigating work. Check references.

  • Ask for Insurance Certificates (proof of Insurance should be supplied to you before any work begins)
  • Your contractor should be able to supply all necessary building permits
  • Ask for lien waivers in exchange for payment
